Late night margaritas.

Friday night. Went with my man to have some margaritas. I was actually freezing in this outfit, since the nights are still cold. But I actually like it, because that way you wear more clothes during such weather, which is always a plus. And it's not strongly restricted to tanks and shorts.

I wore: Boyfriend jeans from Gap, blouse from Mango ( bought it in Aruba), heels are by Vince Camuto from Macys(you can see them here as well), bag is by Tignanello( real leather, got it from my cousin who was visiting for Easter from Canada)

OOTD - Easter 2011 edition

Hello, my dear readers! Finally, I successfully posted this post. I tried about 10 times to upload pictures to my blog this week and it was giving me an error each time. And today, I decided I was going to give it one last try and it worked!!! I don't know what was the problem before, but I'm happy that it worked this time.
So, here is my Easter outfit. I went to see my parents. AND... crap, I forgot my shoes!!! So, I just asked Nazar's cousin to get any pair of my shoes for me from home on their way to my parents house. Crazy me! I cannot believe I did that! it was disappointing. But the show must go on. Therefore, pretend like you do not see the shoes.

I wore: Trench coat - Banana Republic, shirt and skirt from ZARA, and my heart pendant from Tiffany&Co.

Cruise outfits

I did not know what to blog about today. My camera is empty of picture and I haven't had a chance to take any. So, I reached into my photo library on Picasa and found few outfit pictures from my cruise.
When you go on a cruise, the last thing you want to do is put outfits together. You also don't have time to do it. So, my recommendation is to prepare ahead of time. Dresses are the easiest things to bring with you! But make sure you bring the ones that do not wrinkle much. Otherwise, you will be walking around in wrinkles.
And YES, I definitely overpacked for this cruise!
I hope you will enjoy this little post and will tell me: in your opinion, what is the best clothing item to bring on vacation?(destination - warm places!!)

So, that's what I did and here's what I wore.

I wore: Leather jacket- Victoria's Secret online store, dress- Urban Outfitters (very old), shoes - Steve Madden, tights- Traget, sunglasses- Ray Ban, and my LV speedy 35.

Misbehaved...

Once again I'm placing these "tape-sort -of" stickers on my nails. I really like the results and its long lasting effects. It stays on for about 5-7 days. I already did a post on the butterfly design and you can view it here. And I have looked around for the best deal on these. So far Target has the best deals - $8.50 for a pack. If you have a retail store near you that sells these, I would definitely look into trying them on. I love it!

Sally Hansen Salon Effects in Misbehaved.

I hope you have great plans for the weekend!
See you soon!

The Land of Brave and Free

Hi guys! I've been a bad blogger and had somewhat of a blogspot withdrawal. I don't know why, but I haven't been inspired to post. My best guess, it's due to this weather. It rains almost every day here; crazy winds and gray skies... So depressing, I'm telling you.
But I had a nice and exciting trip to Washington DC last weekend and it gave me sort of a push/kick to cheer up.
Now, on my trip there I did not see the president, unfortunately;)
But I did visit all the tourist spots;)
And blooming cherry blossom was everywhere! It was very beautiful.

I was the photographer on the trip. It's very strange but I am so used to my bf taking my pictures that I hardly ever let anyone else take pictures of me. It's pretty snobby of me, but I think he does the best job and I just don't feel like posing/smiling for anyone else. I'm a snob... and this needs to change

How to: Clean your Clarisonic brush head.

I was looking for a way to deep clean my clarisonic brush, and found few forums online where women recommended using peroxide. At first I was just using my face wash to clean the brush, but I never felt like it was enough. I definitely did not want to remove makeup and bacteria from my face while cleaning it and then leave my clarisonic in the bathroom till the next face wash, where all the bacteria from last time would be reapplied back to my face. It doesn't seem very clean. So, I found a better way to clean the brush. Here's how I do it:

You will need:

~ Baby Shampoo

~ a glass/small container

~ 1/4 cup of water

~ 1/4 cup of hydrogen peroxide

Step1: Use a dime size amount of baby shampoo to clean your brush. I put the shampoo straight onto the brush and in slow circular motions just rub it against the palm of my hand. Then rinse well with water.

Step 2: pour 1/4 cup of water and 1/4 cup of peroxide into a glass. Stir it well.

Step 3: Place your Clarisonic brush head into the glass and let it soak there for about 15-30 minutes. I would not recommend leaving it there for more than 30 minutes, because it might damage the bristles of the brush.

I hope, some of you will find this method useful and use it as well.

Day 7. St Thomas. US Virgin Island.

Hi guys!

I am looking forward to finishing this series of posts from my spring break. I still have old San Juan, but I think I will post about it sometime later on. I just cannot wait to get back into blogging mode!!!

Now, St Thomas was the last island we visited with the cruise, and I was very sad to leave. I wish I could stay there for another week or two ( on the cruise). I had a wonderful time, and would recommend to go and visit Caribbean to anyone who like a good time and wants to see a good veriety of thing. Caribbean cruise it's simply beautiful!
