Banana white chocolate & cream cheese. Interested yet?

Hi guys!

Today was rather a nice day. I had a morning class followed by an hour of baking. Then shower, hair, makeup, shopping, and finally reading. I felt so easy and on top of my to-do list, that I didn't want to stop. So, I just finished doing weights. Random, I know.

So, I baked cupcakes today and they came out delicious! Here is the recipe:

Ingridients:

150g of unsalted butter,

150g of icing sugar,

2 ripe bananas,

2 large eggs,

125g of plain flour,

25g of corn starch,

1tsp of baking soda,

and 50g of white chocolate chips.

For frosting:

100g of cream cheese,

200g of icing sugar,

25g of unsalted, melted butter.

Instructions:

1.Preheat oven to 355F

2. Cream the butter and sugar until pale and fluffy.

3. Add mashed banana, eggs - cream well after each addition.

4. Sift the flour, baking powder and corn starch over the banana mixture and add the white choc. chips. Do not over work the batter.

5.Fill each cupcake case 3/4 full.

6. Bake in preheated oven for 20-22 min.

7. Transfer the cupcakes to a cooling rack and let them cool completely before decorating them with cream cheese frosting.

For the Frosting:

1. Whip the sifted icing sugar and cream cheese until light and fluffy. Use mixer.

2. Pour melted butter and whip for a couple of min.

3. Let the cream cheese frosting set in the fridge for an hour before using.

5. Garnish the cupcakes with the cream cheese frosting and some sprinkles.

Very easy, and oh so yummy!!!

So, many of you know, that I'm a student. And what I have noticed over the years, is that now more and more girls in my school look stylish. There are a lot of girls who are into sweatpants and a hoodie outfits, but there are some that look very fashinable. And I love it. Mini makeup tutorial

Today I will tell you guys, step by step how I did my eye make up for the "Before the rain we smile" post. Enjoy!!!

This is what I used for the total look:

Urban Decay Eye lid primer
Clinique Even Better liquid foundation
Loreal Voluminous mascara
MAC "Trax" eyeshadow
MAC "All that glitters" eyeshadow
ELF eyeshadow duo in Mocha swirl
Brown or black eyeliner, I use Teddy by MAC
MAC Viva la glam GAGA lipstick
1 eye shadow brush
1 blending brush
clear lip gloss

1. Prep your eyelids with any primer that you use. I use Urban Decay

2. Take "All taht glitter" and with an eyeshadow brush put it all over your lid and even in the crease.
3. Take "Trax" and with blending brush, put it in your crease. Try blending Trax with All that glitters, so there would not be a harsh line between them.

4. Use the light color from ELF Mocha swirl duo and highlight your brow bone - I put it right under my eyebrow. Use any eyeshadow brush, that u prefer for highlight.

5. Use any brown/black eyeliner and eyeline your upper lid with a thin line.

6. Apply your favorite mascara.

AND WE ARE DONE!!!

On my face I use Clinique Even Better makeup, some bronzer. For lips- GAGA lipstick with clear gloss over it. Oh, and I just realized that I didnt include the eyeliner in the picture, but you can see it here. It's the best brown eyeliner that I have ever used!!!

Hi!!! I finally got around to blog this post. It seems like everything was determined to distract me tonight from blogging, and then my pictures wouldn't upload. So, yeah, I'm pretty annoyed. Anyway. I noticed that Sunday is usually the day (the night) when I do my outfit of the day post, and I tried very hard not to break my promise.

Um.. yeah, about the outfit... It's not very special, just something I put together for the movie night with my bf. I did like my eye make up, though. So, I might do a tutorial for this look. Let me know if you guys are interested. I never spend too much time on my make up, therefore, it would be a very simple tutorial.

What else is funny, is that half an hour after we took these pictures, there was lightening, thunder, and pouring rain outside. So, I managed to take pictures of the beautiful flower bush in my back yard, right before the rain. I wonder what's left of it after the storm?

P.S. For those who asked for a swatch, I'm wearing my Viva la glam GAGA lipstick, with some clear gloss on top. And excuse my hair do, it's because of the weather.

I've got summer on my mind.

Man! today was a tough day! I had a test, work, some daily chores, and I had to go buy a suit for my boyfriend. We are invited for a wedding on May 1st, so we had to get some new stuff. I bought a dress at Bebe. I love it!!! it's so nice!!! Can't wait to show you guys!!! Among all of that, I also made an online order with Victoria's Secret. I ordered a swim suit ( lower left side of my collage). It's something different for me, since I only use simple bikinis or bandeau bikinis. This time I've got bling/chains going on. I hope it's going to fit now! Anyway, I also saw few other nice ones. I realy like the one in the middle, so I might be back, once I get another coupon in the mail:)

Outfit of the day and some new goodies:)

I went to a birthday brunch today and that's what I wore. I hate being so vain and cliche, but I don't know a better way of putting it, than just : here's what I wore today... lol

So, let's continue with my cliche description of the outfit:)

I did not wear anything new, only accessories are new. Very new, to be honest, just bought them yesterday.

Jacket ZARA (S/S '09), Dress French Connection (S'09), Shoes Nine West (F/W 09), Tights Target, Bag Marc by Marc Jacobs (2008), Sunglasses Cole Haan.

And now, I will just elaborate on the things I got at the mall yesterday. First of all, I would like to say, that the only reason why I ended up in the mall is because I had to get a gift for the birthday girl. And of course along the way, I picked up few things for myself.

Number one, are these flats. I really do not need another pair of shoes, but as I walked in to the store they gave me one of those scratch off coupons AND MINE WAS 50% OFF!!! I never get anything like this. So, I just gave in and spent $45, which think is not that bad.

Then, I saw these at Lohmann's (not quiet at the mall, but whatev'). I freaking love these sunnies!!! I was looking for a pair of round sunglasses for so long!! and TA-DA!!! They were discounted from $175 to $24.99. And that's why I go to Lohmann's, for deals like this:)

And last, but not least, this long side way cross chain and a three finger ring from Forever 21. Super cheap, but I like it.

Vogue China May 2010

I decided to write about this editorial of Vogue - China, because I am very annoyed with all the Russian/Ukranian/Slavic people, who keep saying that Natalia Vodianova is not that pretty and that there are plenty of girls in Russia, who are much prettier than her, and blah, blah, blah... I personaly, think that she is gorgeous! With a very unique face, that not every model has. And she worked very hard to be where she is now!!! And all the people who are saying that she's not pretty, are just haters! Cause she is absolutely fabulous!!!! And what is the most shocking?! Her own people are talking badly about her! I cannot stand it!

breathing the air, feeling the sky...

Hi guys! I'm not really sure what I want to blog about tonight, but I felt like writing something:) Therefore, here Iam.
I guess, I could always talk about the weather and how much it sucks.
Sunshine, rain, wind, sunshine, rain, freezing, sunshine, wind, rain, sunshine.
Is it just me, or any of you are as puzzled as I am? I left the house it was freezing, later on it's warm, then closer to the end of the day it rained. I don't even know what to wear these days! And that's why I haven't posted an outfit of the day post, because I look like a maniac throught the entire day! Also, my allergies are getting bad, and I keep itching my eyes and sneezing. No makeup goes along with that. I am also having trouble with picking out clothes, just because I'm really sick of everything that's in my closet. I need to make some changes in my wardrobe. I actually made a list of things I want to buy in the next 2 months. However, you know how sometimes you know exactly what you are looking for, but cannot find it anywhere, no matter where you look? Well, that's my luck!!! I've been looking for the perfect nude flats or pumps and no luck at ALL... It's pretty sad actually, because I have been looking for them since last summer.
Anyway, I don't want to complain too much, cause life is soo good to me. Maybe if the weather would stop being so crazy, that would be enough for me:)

This past weekend I went to visit my parents and this picture is taken then. I actually caught up with my fashion magazine reading. I have all these magazines sitting there, still in packages and no attention paid to them. So, there, I read "lucky" and "vogue":))
